Brannigan Demands Victory At Central Park

QUEENS boss Kenny Brannigan is demanding his side beat Cowdenbeath on Sunday.

The Doonhamers are yet to pick up a single point this season, and Brannigan knows a win against the ex-SFL2 side is vital.

He said: "We need the win. We need the points on the board."It's getting to a desperate stage without a point in two matches reports the Dumfries and Galloway Standard.

"Their ground is definitely a place we should be going to looking for points. "You need to be taking points from every game and we haven't been doing that yet."

Queens' league campaign has started with defeats against Dundee and Raith Rovers, sending them tumbling to the foot of the table.

Brannigan was furious with his side's 3-1 defeat against Raith Rovers last Saturday, blaming a poor defence and woeful finishing.

And he knows his side will need to improve if they are to take points off the Fife outfit.
