Brannigan has been left sweating ahead of Saturday's curtain raiser, after having only nine players available for training on Tuesday.

He anticipates a tough fixture this afternoon against one of the division's promotion favourites but wants his players to go out and enjoy keeping possession.

He said: "You could go through the Dundee team and see that every player is both strong and good with the ball.

"I just want my boys to go out and enjoy keeping the ball, because they're good at it."

Brannigan is optimistic that at least two new faces will be arriving at Palmerston before the transfer window shuts at the end of the month.

He said: "There will be players coming into the club but we just have to wait to get the all clear from there own clubs.

"I'm hoping still for one left-sided player and a forward type player will hopefully join too."

Maeanwhile there has been no official comment from Palmerston concerning Brannigan's podast outburst on the club's official website in which he stated he was getting no support from the Board of Directors.
