Falkirk Living On Borrowed Time

n128628097485_4786Falkirk are a side that have been living on borrowed time for a while now as they had to negotiate a new payment plan with Falkirk council in order to meet their rent payments a while back and having suffered relegation last season they have had to deal with significantly lower revenues this season ...  reports the Daily Record

With a small support of 400 only turning up to hear about the possibility of buying next seasons season ticket early as long as Pressley is sacked does not look good.

As with most 1st division teams they should really consider part time football as there is just not enough money in this league to support full time football, its the harsh reality of the economic climate that football and the supporters find themselves in. Back in the late eighties most teams in the 1st Div and the lower leagues were all part time and it seems this is the only way to keep all these small teams alive.

The way things are with Falkirk it will be hard for them to sustain football if they continue the way they are.
There is also news that Partick Thistle are in serious financial difficulties.
