Four Matches To Look Out For

There’s a big weekend of action coming up in the SPFL, with the top two meeting in three of the four divisions. Here are four matches to look out for:

Celtic v Aberdeen - Ladbrokes Premiership
Aberdeen beat Celtic 2-1 at Pittodrie earlier in the season but the reigning champions have recovered to move four points clear at the top. The Dons ended a three-game Premiership losing streak with a 1-1 draw against Motherwell on Saturday while Celtic thrashed Dundee United 5-0 on Sunday. Celtic have won five and drawn one at home in the league this season, scoring 20 goals in the process. Saturday's big game is live on Sky Sports, kick-off 12.30pm.

Hibernian v Rangers - Ladbrokes Championship
Can anyone stop Rangers? Mark Warburton's side have won all 11 Championship games in 2015/16, most recently 1-0 at St Mirren on Sunday. Hibernian went down 1-0 at Ibrox earlier in the campaign and are eight points behind the leaders. However, Alan Stubbs' side are in a rich vein of form, with seven wins and a draw in their past eight league matches. Sunday's Easter Road encounter is live on Sky Sports, kick-off 12.30pm.

Airdrieonians v Albion Rovers - Ladbrokes League 1
Albion Rovers have confounded expectations since winning promotion and are currently third in the table, three points and one place above their Lanarkshire rivals. Darren Young's side have won four of their last five matches and will be hoping to gain revenge for a 3-1 home defeat to the Diamonds on September 12 - which remains their only setback at Cliftonhill this term.

East Fife v Annan Athletic - Ladbrokes League 2
After a break for the second round of the Scottish Cup, it's back to business in Ladbrokes League 2 and it's second against first at Bayview. Gary Naysmith's East Fife will leapfrog Jim Chapman's Annan Athletic if they can make home advantage count. But it's very tight below them - Clyde, in seventh, are just three points off second spot as they prepare to face Queen's Park at Hampden.
