ALLAN JOHNSTON insists Nicky Clark can hit the ground running at Rangers.
Queen of the South boss Magic believes Clark, who hit 41 goals this season, can blast Gers to the Second Division title.
Ex-Ibrox star Johnston said: “I am sure Nicky can handle the move. If you are a goalscorer you can score anywhere.
“For anyone to hit 41 goals in a season is unbelievable. Some strikers will go through lulls during the season, but Nicky scored consistently and made chances, he works so hard for the team.
“When I signed for Rangers it was a little daunting, but you have to put that to the back of your head.
“If I was Nicky I’d get myself really fit and try to make an immediate impact.
“If you score goals it is hard to keep you out.”
