Queen's manager Ian McCall has his sights on the quarter finals of the Tennents Scottish Cup but first there is the matter of desposing of Hamilton Accies tonight at New Douglas Park on their pastic pitch. It looks a tall order indeed on current form and McCall will be without his quartet of recent signings. This opens the door for Bowey,Gibson, McLaughlan and possibly Wood to try and snatch a vital win as defeat would virtually end our season and result in financial disaster for the club. If we manage to progress to the quarter finals and I mean no disrespect to Alloa, the mouth watering prospect of Sky money will beackon. Ayr United are reported to have received a five figure sum for last night's non event against Caley
Gary Wood
Thistle at Somerset Park. We are most definitely the underdogs tonight but this is a cup-tie and I hope we have a real go at the Accies and with around 400 Queens fans cheering on the Doonhamers anything can happen. We must keep it tight at the back and don't give away stupid goals. I saw a rerun of the goal Queens lost on Saturday on Border TV and it looked well offside but that is history and let's look for a welcome victory tonight.
