Queen of the South Supporters Match

Step out on the hallowed turf of Palmerston Park for an exclusive end-of-season friendly between two teams, managed and captained by Queen of the South stars of yesteryear. All positions in both squads shall be filled by the supporter who places the highest bid for it.
Each player shall find their own personalised strip, with their name and number on it, hanging in the Palmerston dressing rooms before the match. Once you've changed and been out on the park for your warm-up, you'll get your pre-match team-talk from your legendary manager, and then it's out onto the pitch for kick-off.
Each player shall receive:
- a full kit with their name and number on it
- official pre-match team photograph
- official match teamsheet
- aftermatch hospitality in the stadium lounge bar
- and most importantly, the honour of playing for Queen of the South at Palmerston.
Bidding Information
Bidding commences on Tuesday 30th March at 10.00am, and closes at 3.00pm on Friday 9th April, 2010. So get your bids in quick!
The minimum bid shall be £80 for each starting position, and £50 for each substitute position, and all bids must be placed in denominations of £10. The highest bidder for each position when bidding closes shall play, or can nominate someone to play in the position they have successfully bid for. There is no "reserve price", and all positions shall be available to bid on until the close of the auction period.
Players must be 16 or over.
Bids can be made for all positions either by e-mail to commercial@qosfc.com or by telephone to Mark McMinn, Commercial Manager, on 07590 848792 848792, stating your name, your contact details, your bid, and which team and position you wish to bid for. The bidding period for telephone bids shall close at 5.00pm on Wednesday 7th April - only bids received by e-mail shall be accepted after this time. Only bids received in our e-mail Inbox by 3.00pm on Friday 9th April shall be valid - any bids shown as being received after this time shall be discounted.
The auction team line-ups shall be updated whenever possible to reflect the highest current bid for each particular position as bids are received, so that all bidders are aware of whether their current bid is highest. We cannot guarantee that the line-ups displayed on the website shall reflect the current highest bids.
Each position shall have a number allocated to it, and bidding for that number represents a wish to play in that position (ie. by bidding for the No. 3 shirt, you are bidding to start the match in the left-back position). Requests for alternative team numbers can be made with your bid, but cannot be guaranteed.
The auction team line-ups shall be displayed on www.qosfc.com for the duration of the auction period stated above, and the final team line-ups shall then be displayed upon completion of the auction.
