During the calendar year we won just 14 games in 45 outings and we`ve suffered rain, hail, sleet and snow; games called off at short notice and even floodlight failure.
We lost out in the Final of the Alba Cup, key players left for `pastures new` and even a string of postponements.
So let`s all hope that 2012 will herald the start of a new dawn for Queen of the South and let`s all stick together and drink a toast to `better days`.
Added Chairman David Rae, "We`ve 10 home league games to play and a cup-tie at Partick Thistle. So there`s still a long way to go and plenty of points to play for.
"But I`m not too happy to be sitting bottom of the table.
"However, I`d still like to say a `Happy New Year` to all our supporters and sponsors and here`s hoping 2012 will bring us more points and more fans."
Like Mr Rae,Queen Mad is hoping Queens have a more successful 2012.
