Queens have prepared well for arguably their most challenging  season for many a day, and have shaped up well in recent friendlies.

Here are the results to date :

 Annan 0 Queens 1

Queens Park 0 Queens 2

Morton 0 Queens 1

Clyde 1 Queens 2

Two more games have been arranged against Gateshead (16th July) and Rotherham (19th July) at Palmerston on the new surface before the season kicks off proper on Saturday 26th July against Livingston in the first round of the Petrofac Training Cup (Challenge Cup)

Queen's manager Jim McIntyre is happy with progress of the squad which he says has a good balance of experience and youth. He is hoping that there are no more serious injuries before the new season starts.
