There seem little doubt that Queens keeper Jim Atkinson brought Hibs player Cummings down to concede a penalty on Saturday however have a look at the video and decide for yourself.
We think it was the correct decision but it was a bad error by Atkinson who had no need to dive in like that. Loads of keepers make the same mistake and streetwise players always leave a trailing leg and if there is contact the referee has no alternative but to award a penalty.
