QUEENS GIVE YOUTH A CHANCE reports Queens Official Site Daniel Carmichael has been an inspriration since he joined Queens from Gretna 2008 towards the end of last season and the 20-year-old is really enjoying life at Palmerston. A local lad, Daniel stays in Dumfries and is a near neighbour of another recent signing, Ryan McGuffie. The club has now officially signed four young players who have already been with us for a while--David Orsi, Steven Degnan, Ian McShane and Gavin Reilly, and all have already featured in the `warm up` games prior to the season starting in earnest. They now join Ross Hyslop, signed earlier in the year, but Ross is still recovering from a nasty leg break.
