From the North: If travelling from Ayrshire follow the A76 into Dumfries until you reach the Lincluden roundabout. If travelling from the Centreal Belt proceed down the A74(M) then turn off at junction 15 (Moffat/Dumfries) carry on down the A701 into Dumfries until you reach the Heathall roundabout on the by-pass. Turn right at roundabout and carry on until you reach the Lincluden roundabout.
From the East: Follow the A75 on to the Dumfries by-pass until you reach the Lincluden roundabout.
From the West: Follow the A7 from Langholm and join the M6 at junction 44. Proceed North on to A74(M) then turn off at junction 22(Gretna/Annan) and head to Dumfries on the A75. On reaching Dumfries proceed on to by-pass until you reach the Lincluden roundabout.
From the South-East: Proceed up the M6/M74 and carry on same as directions from West.
General: Palmerston Park is best approached from all directions from the Lincluden roundabout on the Dumfries by-pass. This roundabout is spanned by a large pedestrian suspension bridge and is also flanked by two retail parks. Exit south from the roundabout on to A76 and follow the road past the TESCO roundabout(You can also park in the retail park) until you reach another roundabout. Turn right and you are there. Park at either the ICE BOWL or beside the old unoccupied TESCO store.
