FootyMad's prediction ...

Its been a distinctly poor show from Queen o.t.S. at home in recent games, and, though I cannot see a run starting here, I do think the The Doonhamers will at least gain a draw. Score draw

Sequence statistics:
Queen o.t.S. Drawn last 2 games at home.
Failed to win in previous 4 home matches.
Unbeaten run of 3 matches.
Dunfermline A. Drawn each of the last 2 games.
No win in the 2 most recent games.

Following the disappointment of only managing a draw against `bottom dogs` Stirling Albion at Palmerston on Tuesday night Kenny Brannigan is looking for his troops to `give their all` against second top Dunfermline on Saturday.

A home win is well overdue as we haven`t tasted victory on our home ground since we beat Cowdenbeath down here in mid November. But it must be said that postponements played a big part in that.

The manager was an angry man after Tuesday night`s performance and rightly so! Said Kenny, "I was absolutely raging. We missed over a dozen scoring chances and it`s just not good enough. We got a draw, but to me it was like a defeat. It was the worst I`ve ever felt in management!

"We take on Dunfermline this Saturday and I`m looking for a big improvement in front of goal and in defence as well.

"In my mind Dunfermline are still favourites for promotion! They`ve brought in a few big name players and they`ll be hard to beat.

"We`ve had some great games against them in recent seasons and most of them have been close. But I feel Saturday`s match could well be the hardest to date."

Stephen McKenna is suspended for three games and will miss out on Saturday. `Hat-trick` hero David Weatherston jerked a ham-string while celebrating that third goal at Cappielow and is doubtful as he missed out against Stirling. Paul Burns has a groin injury and he too could be sidelined.

Both Willie McLaren and Dan Carmichael never trained today but the manager`s hoping both will be OK come Saturday.
