LET'S SEE WHAT YOU ARE MADE OF QUEENS

Lyle-available
Queens match against fellow strugglers Brechin is fraught with danger and defeat would be unthinkable for the frustrated Queens fans. This indeed could be a nightmare scenario for a Doonhamers side having to travel all the way to Angus on a damp Tuesday evening to face a side also fighting for their Division 1 status. The Glebe Park side with players like Britton,Hampshire and Ritchie adding experience, will be up for this game and make no mistake and Queens will have to dig deep to survive. The key will be what team Scott plays and his tactics. Does he go for the win or does he put up the shutters similar to Brechin's tactics at Palmy earlier in the season ? The news is that O'Neill and Carr are available for selection along with Lyle so Scott has plenty of options. I anticipate a real dogfight and my worry is do Queens have the physical strength to survive. Lightweight players such as McLaughlan,Burns and Payne may find it hard going on the grassy slopes of Glebe Park against a big physical

home side. As always I am optimistic but these are tough days for Queens and they will have to battle like hell for the points.

Recent respective form guides

Brechin City need to improve on their recent home record of just 3 draws from the previous six. While The City have scored 5, a worringly large 10 have been leaked at the other end.

The away form of Queen o.t.S. is pretty dire, managing a paltry 2 draws from the last six matches. The Doonhamers have conceded 11 goals in these games, and only hit 3 in reply.

Brechin City find themselves stuck right at the bottom of the division. Their 10 games have yielded only 3 points. Queen o.t.S. are hovering perilously just above the relegation zone, with 6 points from 10 matches.
