ON FORM QUEENS LOOKING FOR GOALS AGAINST THE STAGGIES

Lovell - in
superp form
Queens will be looking to improve on their goal difference with victory against Ross County at Palmerston tomorrow. With Stranraer facing another tough away fixture Queens have the opportunity to draw clear of their rivals. There are a couple of injury problems reported from Palmy with Ryan McStay and Jim Thomson doubtful. My sources tell me that Jim will be keen to play even if they carry him on to the pitch. He took a hell of a bettering from Stranraer's Moore and also compounded things at New Douglas Park. Gary Wood is waiting in the wings if the big man doesn't make it and with Stuart Lovell in superb form we have few problems at the back. There is even talk of Sean O'Connor playing at some stage so Queens boss McCall is spoilt for choice. County however will be no pushovers and only a good performance from Queens will secure the points.
