QUEENS FACE TOUGH FIRHILL CHALLENGE

Scott makes his
100th appearance
for Queens
Queens face Partick Thistle in a crucial relegation fixture at Firhill tomorrow. It is a game Thistle must win to have any First divison survival hopes and a defeat for Queens would drag the Doonhamers into a relegation dogfight. Queens have had a less than ideal preparation this week as their training has been disrupted due to Palmerston being unplayable and lack of a suitable alternative. Gary Wood and Brian Reid will be missing but McLaughlan along with McNiven will be available. Queens have come up against the odds whilst in a tight corner in the past but they will be really up against it this time with the form book pointing towards a Thistle win. The Doonhamers were less than impressive against Montrose despite Gibson's wonder goal and they will have to dig deep tomorrow. With several hundred Queens fans heading for Maryhill, there should be a cup-tie atmosphere and we all hope and pray for at least a draw.
