QUEENS HOPING FOR A HIGHLAND FLING

Carr-injured
Queens left Dumfries this afternoon heading for Dingwall in a desperate search for points against high flying Ross County on Saturday. Queens will be without Lyle and Carr for the visit but include a Nigerian sriker who may play as a trialist. Queens manager Scott has been impressed by striker who has been training with the squad recently along with a Ukranian mid-fielder.
Scott hopes to fix up the Nigerian on a contract but his wages demands may preclude any agreement. Queens are in desperate trouble and appear isolated at the bottom of the league but as things can change dramatically in football and for the sake of the long-suffering fans the sooner than later. To be honest it would be an almighty shock if Queens take anything from the Dingwall side but we live in hope. The usual die-hards from the Travel Club will be up at the crack of dawn to make the long journey North and will be looking forward to meeting old friends in the Mallard Bar prior to kick-off. They are decent people up in Dingwall and the Queens fans are always made welcome. I hope the Queens fans come home happy.

Recent respective form guides

Ross County have only performed averagely at home, winning 3 and losing 2 of their last six. The goals for column just outweighs the goals against over this period, 7 to 5.

The away form of Queen o.t.S. is pretty dire, accumulating just 1 victory and 1 draw from their last six played. While the The Doonhamers have hit 4 goals, 11 have hit the back of the wrong net.

Ross County are just outside the promotion places, in 2nd, having taken 15 points from 7 games. Queen o.t.S. find themselves stuck right at the bottom of the division. Their 7 games have yielded only 2 points.
