Lord Palmerston heading for Douglas Park

The euphoria of thumping the Cleyholers is past and Queens face the formidable task of overcoming Hamilton Accies on their plastic surface on Saturday. To be fair the surface is one of the best around but it does not suit certain players and with this in mind Queens boss Ian McCall is uncertian about his team selection. Jim Thomson still has a hell of a sore face along with various other players but we have a good pool and I'm sure we can push the Accies all he way. As usual the absolute horde of Queens fans will be making the short jaunt up to Hamilton with the Travel Club coaches fully booked and yours trully even being granted a dispensation from family commitments to attend by courtesy of the Queens New Bazaar Supporters Club I will be very surprised if Queens don't force at last a draw and put further pressure on the Cleyholers.

Recent respective form guides

Hamilton Academical have collected 2 wins and 3 draws from their last six home matches. The goals for column just outweighs the goals against over this period, 3 to 2.

The away form of Queen o.t.S. is pretty dire, chalking up just 1 victory, with 5 defeats, from the last six. While the The Doonhamers have hit 4 goals, 11 have hit the back of the wrong net.
