BOWEY-INJURY WORRY
Queens will face what looks like a dour struggle with St Mirren at Palmy on Saturday. The Paisley Buddies who have departed company with their manager will be fighting for survival and injury hit Queens will do well to secure three points. Saints will be without Queens folk hero O'Neill which is a great pity as most Doonhamers would like to have seen John Jo again. Apart from long-term crocks Scott and O'Connor, Queens have injury worries with several players including influential Captain Boweycarrying injuries. Jim Thomson (The Kaiser) should return after suspension which will bring back some sort of stability to the defence. A win for Queens is vital as there are some pretty tough fixtures looming up over the festive season and every point is precious.. With all this heavy rain the Palmy pitch is expected to cut up so Queens will do well to pick up a narrow win. I'm going for a 2-1 victory for Queens but it will be tough going and the fans must play their part and get right behind the team.
