JC HOPING TO PROGRESS TO CHALLENGE CUP SEMI-FINAL

Dumbarton's Sons of the Rock will provide stiff opposition as Queens hope to progress to the semi-final of the Challenge Cup. Dumbarton shocked everyone by walloping Ayr United in the last round and although losing to Raith Rovers 0-1 on Saturday they are holding their own in Division 2 having gained promotion from Div 3 with Brechin last season. We have had many a battle with the sons in the past and Tuesday should be no exception and Palmy may see another night of drama. Danger men to look out for in the Sons team is striker Paddy Flannery who was linked with Queens and John Dillon who scored two nice goals against Ayr in the previous round. Queens must go for the opposition from the start and hopefully we may enjoy the last quarter of the match in the "comfort zone". Remember the kick-off is 7.45.
