John Connolly was naturally delighted after Queens humping of Stenhousemuir and said on Radio Solway that he was over the moon with Queens form considering that 5 players are missing from his pool due to injury. He also added that there is a lot of work still to be done before promotion is gained, starting with a tough game against Berwick on Saturday followed by another massive fixture against Greenock Morton on Tuesday evening. If Queens can emerge with full points from those fixtures they will take a huge step towards Division 1.
Dumfries is buzzing at the moment and the fans can play their part by turning out in their thousands for the run in. The latest indications are that the Travel Club Buses for the remaining away fixtures are filling up fast with the Alloa bus fully booked and a second one filling up.
