Thomas O'Ware goal sees Morton beat Queen of the South

Thomas O'Ware was on target as Morton maintained their unbeaten home record in the Scottish Championship with a 1-0 victory over Queen of the South.

O'Ware headed the only goal of the game after 17 minutes, his ninth of the season, as the Greenock club climbed to third in the table.

Gary Oliver, Gavin Gunning and Jamie McDonagh all tried to extend the lead before half-time but did not trouble visiting goalkeeper Lee Robinson, who made a good save early in the second half to deny Ross Forbes.

At the other end, Andy McNeil kept out an effort from Jamie Hamill before thwarting substitute Ross Fergusson late on.
