QUEENS FACE ST JOHNSTONE WITHOUT GORAM SHOCK

GORAM- INJURED HAND
As Queens prepare to face promotion hopefuls St Johnstone tomorrow at Palmerston, the news this evening is that Andy Goram has a cracked bone in his hand and may be out for a month. This leaves the door open for Colin Scott to take over in the Queens goal. Colin is a more than able deputy and I'm sure wont let us down. There are no other injury problems and John Connolly will be keen to dent the Perth Saints slim hopes of promotion. St Johnstone on the other hand will probably fancy their chances of overhauling Fakirk who must be deflated by the departure of Mc Call to Dundee United. I visited Palmy this afternoon and it looks in good order and the game should ahead unless their is a dramatic turn in the weather. There should be a healthy crowd tomorrow with the Saints bringing a few down and. I predict a close contest with Queens just shading it.
