Mendes hatrick against Clyde
Queens head for a Challenge Cup semi-final date with an on form St Mirren at Love Street tonight. After the disappointment of the Ayr defeat JC must rally the troops and the good news is that Gray has recovered from injury and is included in the pool. This is a one off cup-tie and Queens have every chance of progressing to the final if Weatherson and company start to find the net. Even though we didn't play well against the honest men we still created enough chances to win. St Mirren however looked impressive in their 2-3 away win against Clyde with Mendes getting a hatrick. A large following of Queens supporters is expected to travel tonight so there is every prospcet of a cracking tie.
