Under pressure Queens boss Iain Scott will make a late decision on whether to play John O'Neill as his team face up to an on-form St Mirren team in the second round of the Bells Cup at Palmy this evening. Scott has indicated that he will ring the changes but he has very few options open to him. There is concern about the form and fitness of Reid and perhaps Carr may get the defensive slot with Thomson. Burns could also get a recall and Scott will also have Lyle back. It will be another tense evening for the Palmy faithful who have divided views on the ability of Scott to turn things around. My personal view,is although he must take the ultimate blame, several players are just not performing and until they do we will struggle. I hope the crowd get behind the team and as long as we get 100% from the team win or lose I'll be happy. Make no mistake this Buddies team are in a confident mood and will take some stopping with Queens struggling to take anything from the match. We live in hope and after all by the law of averages we are due perhaps a narrow victory. It is after all a cup competition and anything can happen.
