Queens vs Berwick Rangers Preview

Last updated : 30 March 2002 By
Queens take on Berwick Rangers tommorow in yet another big promotion game where we need to take full points. Berwick are struggling at the moment and are still in danger of dropping down the the third division but witht the array of talent they have many of our supporters will know that this is going to be a tough match with Berwick probably hoping to attack from the outset liek they usually do. Berwick have many qulaity players in their ranks who are well capable of troubling JT and Ackers, the likes of Feroz, Anthony and McDowell will have to be watched.

Queens have once again a depleted squad with George O'Boyle and Derek Allan both unavailable again. Steve Bowey is also doubtful after pulling up with an injury before the match vs Cowdenbeath. The Good news is that top scorer John O'Neill is defiently back in the squad and new signing Sean O'Connor is likely to join him!

Berwick Danger men...

CRAIG FEROZ

Will be knwon to many queens fans after his loan spell at the club this season when he scored 5 times. Very quick and well capable of banging ina goal or two. Also competes well in the air and in recent weeks have combined well with another ex-queens man Murray McDowell.

MARC ANTHONY

The ginger-haired midfielder is definetly one of the better players in the league and is arguably their best player. Not the fastest of players but loves the ball at his feet and often controls gameswith his accurate passing. Well capable of scoring goals as he has proved this season.

Probable Queens line-up...
