Queens take on Morton

Queen of the South take on bottom side Greenock Morton at Cappielow tommorow in search of 3 more points.  After getting back to winning ways last week against Forfar Athletic, manager John Connelly will be eager to get a repeat result this week.

It is a vital game for both sides with Queens hoping to get promotion points while Morton will need to bounce back after the 4-0 hammering they recieved last week by Alloa Athletic.  Manager Connelly feels that his side are now capable of scoring a lot of goals after their recent performances.

The Doonhamers will be without Midfielder Barry Donald as he has still not recovered from the Knee injury he sustained at Berwick two weeks ago.  Both Derek Allan and Derek Anderson will be available this week after they were missing from the squad that played Forfar.  Allan Moore will also be available for selection despite missing training on Tuesday night.

Queens will be hoping to retain their unbeaten run at Cappielow this year.  On the first occasion the teasm met this season Morton came back from two goals down to earn a point.  In the Scottish cup queens came out victors by two goals to one, both goals from John O'Neill.

This is the first of two games between the clubs in the space of 4 days with the sides meeting again at Palmerston Park again on Tuesday night.
