QUEEN of the South boss Kenny Brannigan hopes facing Morton again will spark his struggling side back to life.

The Doonhamers have failed to win in six successive games since thrashing Ton 4-0 at Cappielow last month.

And Brannigan is praying that sorry sequence ends against Allan Moore's men.

He said: "Our last victory over Morton was a great day but I would gladly settle for a 1-0 win to get us going again."

Queens have been boosted by the return to fitness of Craig Reid and Paul Burns but Rocco Quinn will again be missing.

Morton boss Moore can't wait for tonight's clash after seeing the weekend clash with Stirling fall victim to the weather.

He said: "The call-off was a blow but we need to use that frustration positively."

Ton look set to be without David MacGregor, Darren Young and Kevin Kelbie again.
