THE GOALIE WILL SWITCH ON XMAS LIGHTS
As Queens head for Aviemore for an overnight stay prior to the match against in form Inverness,Queens have every reason to be optimistic. Although we are not scoring many goals we are not giving away many either and every indication is that we will give the Highlanders a tough match. We have the men in O'connor,Lyle and Weatherson to really hurt Inverness IF they take their chances. As an infamous lady said on the message board if Big Sean had taken his porridge prior to the Ayr match he would have had a hat-rick. Derk Lyle is our only injury worry haveing sustained an injury in training. I have every confidence in this Queens team as it comes to terms with life in the First Division. I have a feeling in my water that Inverness's winning run is about to come to a halt and I'm going for a narrow Queens win. I've an early start tomorrow morning to catch the Travel Club bus outside Palmy at 7.30 AM !! So an early night is planned. Other news is that Andy Goram will be switching on the Christmas lights in Dumfries at the Midsteeple on Sunday 1st of December at around 5.30 pm. Also it is hoped to get some or all of the Queens team including officials to appear on the platform at the Midsteeple, Dumfries on the 15th December to show off the trophies and kick signed footballs into the crowd.
