Ian Harty scored twice as Clyde deservedly retained joint top spot in Division One with a battling victory over Queen of the South.

The striker took advantage of sloppy defending to fire home the opener from close range after only nine minutes.

Queens created chances of their own in the first half, but Clyde's defence held out until they doubled the lead.

Craig Bryson was floored in the box by Garry Wood and Harty netted from the spot his eighth goal of the season.
