Queen of the South came from behind to snatch a vital win over Morton and keeps the Doonhamers in touch with league leaders Dundee.

The visitors fell behind after 23 minutes when Erik Paartalu's cross found Peter Weatherson, who headed past David Hitton to give Morton the lead.

Queen pulled themselves back level eight minutes later when Paul Burns cut inside from the right flank before firing in a shot from 12 yards which completely deceived the home keeper..

Queens improved considerably in the secon-half and Morton skipper Stewart Greacen fluffed a clearance, allowing Derek Holmes to brilliantly lob in and claim the win.

A fine win for Queens acheived by a huge team effort with Andrews shining on his debut.

Queens MAD man of the match - Marvin Andrews - Despite being partly at fault for the Morton goal the big fella turned in a commanding performance.
