Lancaster Bombs Dundee

Last updated : 10 April 2012 By Queens MAD

A marvelous headed goal by Lancaster was enough to seal a famous victory for the Doonhamers in a five goal thriller at Dens Park

A Barry Wilson volley put Queen of the South in front just before the break, then Mickael Antoine-Curier fired home a second-half equaliser from 18 yards.

Stephen Dobbie played a one-two with Paul Burns before cutting inside and beating Dundee goalkeeper Rab Douglas.

Antoine-Curier equalised in the 69th minute when he fired past Lee Robinson, but Queens' Martyn Lancaster headed the winning goal 13 minutes from time.

This was arguably Queens best performance of the season and they fully deserved three points against a good Dundee side.

Queens Man of the Match - Lancaster - He was a constant threat at set peices and was unlucky not to score more than once against a hesitant Home defence.
