QUEENS FALL AGAIN AT THE LAST HURDLE

Another week, another red card for County - but against the odds, three points - as sub Steven Craig netted a late double for the Dingwall club.

On 87 minutes the striker completed a fine counter attack. Richard Brittain picking out Gary Miller, the County defender squared for Craig - minutes on the park - to slot home from 15 yards.

Then in stoppage time, as Queens searched for an equaliser with nothing to lose, Craig netted his second goal, clambering past Campbell to score from 12 yards.

County shaded the first half, but couldn't gain the upper hand. Michael Gardyne had a chance to open the scoring on 20 minutes. Colin McMenamin bustling in at the right crossed for Gardyne, stooping inside the six-yard box, but Robinson saved the header at the right post.

On 69 minutes, County were down to ten men after Stuart Kettlewell was sent off for going in with his boot up on Stephen Simmons. Queens looked to capitalise, but, having committed men forward, were caught out by the late County counter-attacks.
