Kyle Benedictus scored a late winner as Raith Rovers beat Queen of the South in the Scottish Championship.

Queens' Ryan Conroy had the game's first effort but his free-kick was well saved by goalkeeper Kevin Cuthbert.

Lewis Toshney fired over for the hosts before Raith ream-mate Rory McKeown did likewise just before the break.

Andy Dowie's header was saved by Cuthbert and that proved crucial as centre-back Benedictus nodded home at the other end for the winner.
