Queeens ended their long run of disappointing home results with a fighting 2-2 with Morton at Palmerston

Morton took the lead early on as Chris Higgins scored an own goal by over-hitting a pass intended for his goalkeeper.

Derek Lyle smashed home Queens' first leveller on the stroke of half-time.

Denny Johnston tapped home the visitors' second but another own goal, this time a header from Luca Gasparotto, levelled for the hosts.
