Garry Fleming's double fired Dumbarton to a Scottish Cup win at home to fellow Championship side Queen of the South.

Dumbarton dominated the early stages and got their reward in the 17th minute when Fleming coolly slotted past Queens keeper Robbie Thomson after the visitors had claimed a foul against Russell.

Queens struggled on a heavy pitch but Derek Lyle scored his 11th goal of the season to level things early in the second-half.

Dumbarton hit straight back with Kevin Cawley setting-up Fleming to stab home the winner from close range.

Despite heavy pressure by the visitors the Sons held out for a slightly flattering win.
