Andy heads for Palmy
Dramatic news from Palmy this evening is that Andy Goram has signed a one year deal with Queens. Andy, who many rate as Scotlands finest post-war goalkeeper has obviously convinced JC that he can solve the current goalkeeping problem at Queens. It is understood however, that Andy will not be travelling to Southport for the friendly match, Neil Bennet having been chosen to keep goal. There now seems some doubt as to the future of Cambell and the growing mystery as to why Scott is unable to take the field. Meanwhile a large travelling support of Queens fans is expected at Southport on Saturday with the travel club bus fully booked and several more expected to travel down the M6 by car. Queens can expect a tough match, so lets hope everyone stays clear of injury.
