BARNARD SCORES IN QUEENS RESERVE ROMP

Last updated : 14 February 2006 By Duke of Galloway

A strong Queens team completely dominated a young Albion side and although the score ended 6-1 it could have been much much more. The highlight of the match was a magnificent goal by Queens Barnard of all people. He cleared the ball from just outside his own penalty area and the ball bounced into the Albion net much to the bemusement of their goalkeeper. There were several good performances from Queens with Mullen again showing all his talent but Ian McCall was quick to remind him that he should have had at least four goals. We had to be content with one however which was a magnificent free kick from just outside the box. It was a bit of a stroll for most of the Queens team and Ian McCall will be spoilt for choice for his starting eleven for Saturday.
