INJURY RAVAGED QUEENS HEAD FOR FIRHILL

SKIPPER BOWEY-STILL INJURED
An injury ravaged Queens team head for Firhill on Saturday to face a Partick Thistle team smarting from a disappointing defeat against St Mirren last Saturday. Queens must be considered underdogs with the likes of skipper Bowey and defensive stalwart Reid both missing through injury. Jaconelli is also doubtful but Scott is hopeful of having a new striker on the bench so this is very much a makeshift side that will take the field. Queens have been up against it in the past and have surprised us all by coming up trumps. I however think this fixture with Thistle is fraught with danger and without our influencial players we will be right up against it. I hope I am proved wrong and I'm sure several hundred travelling Queens fans will be delighted if the Doonhamers can bring home the bacon.
