Gary Wood - hopes to be fit
t should be a another day of high drama at Palmy tomorrow as the famous Jags from Maryhill are the visitors. There is never a dull moment when Partick Thistle visit Palmerston with their colourful support. Several hundred are expected to make the trip so there should be a unique atmosphere. The Maryhill club have been struggling of late but don't be fooled as they have several quality players who can do a lot of damage as demonstrated when Ross County were demolished recently at Firhill. Queens on the other hand are struggling to score goals and the news is that Brian McLaughlan will definitely be in the line-up. Reid and Craig are doubtful but there is good news that Gary Wood will probably be playing despite a niggling kneck injury. I would expect
McLaughlan - will be on from the start
Lyle and Mc Niven to be given the nod up front despite their recent lack of success but the formation in midfield will be the key. Queens desperately need to take something from the game as they have a tough encounter with St Mirren next week. I have a sneaking feeling that Queens will rise to the occassion backed by a large Palmy crowd and put struggling Thistle to the sword but it wont be for the faint hearted. So let's all get behind the lads and cheer them on to a resounding victory.

McNiven - will be given the nod
