NELLY SUSPENEDED BUT QUEENS IN CONFIDENT MOOD FOR BUDDIES VISIT

NELLY SUSPENDED
Queens are in confident mood as St Mirren visit Palmy tomorrow despite the loss of Weatherson through suspension. I expect JC will play O'Neill alongside O'Connor up front with Lyle and McAlpine on the flanks. The back four picks itself and Bowyer should retain his place alongside Queens most improved player McColligan in midfield. I know we must play to ur strengths but I would like to see Queens push up the field more and show more adventure. This approach may be foolish against teams like Inverness but St. Mirren are no great shakes and Queens are more than a match for the struggling Paisley side. A top five spot is a distinct reality now and this must be our next challenge. Meanwhile news is out that JC and Ronnie Bradford are to be rewarded for Queens recent success.
A housing development in the town will have a JOHN CONNOLLY COURT and a BRADFORD GARDENS. Perhaps they could also consider O'NEILLS CLOSE as John more than any other player contributed to our success in recent years in winning the 2nd Division championship and Challenge Cup.
