Huge crowds turned out in Dumfries yesterday for the annual Guid Neighbours Day as the Queen of the South was crowned at the Midsteeple dressed in GREEN. Meanwhile the Queens were doing a roaring trade at Palmy with the new tops on sale. Such was the demand that certain sizes are almost out of stock. John Patterson and his helpers have done a grand job ensuring that the fans get their new tops before he end of the season. Queens tops are very much in evidence in the town these days and easily outnumber the Glasgow teams. Long may it continue .
