QUEENS AT FULL STRENGTH FOR VISIT TO AYR

OOR WILLIE READY FOR AYR CLASH

Queens head for the seaside tomorrow in confident mood to face Ayr at Somerset Park. They have a clean bill of health and one would expect JC to field more or less the same side that frustrated Falkirk last week. Whilst most Queens fans are relatively happy with the team at the moment, the lack of goals is still a concern and if we do not start hitting the net on a more regular basis we will soon end up in trouble. Ayr are a young team and on paper we should record a victory but if you don't score goals even the most inferior teams will cause you problems as was sadly illustrated against Stranraer in the Bells Cup. I think JC must be a bit more adventurous and go for goals. This league will be a lot tighter this year and things could be close at both top and bottom so we will have to scrap for every point. Three points at Ayr tomorrow will put us in a position of strength to survive the battles that lie ahead. The usual healthy support will be heading through from Dumfries with the Travel Club running two buses. There will also be a meeting in the Prince of Wales pub before the game to guage support for the Queens Supporters Trust. If you have an interest in this then please turn up and lend your support.
