WOOD -INJURY
WORRY

With the injury to Jaconelli last weekend the striker problems have been compounded at Palmy with the news that Wood also has been injured and may not make it against Ross County in our crucial opening to the new season. Mc Niven has however recovered from his knock against Airdrie but Queens fans will be concerned as to who will partner him up front. I was not impressed by Ross County last season but they have strengthened their team with ex Queens
Alex Burke and of course Garry Mc Sweggan. Queens look very strong at the back and midfield and we will be difficult to break down. The striker situation is a worry for Queens but with Bowey driving us on we should get a result against County who will also have to face an extra man in the fanatical Palmy support. I'm going for a 2-0 win for Queens.
