Dick Campbell-Brechin Manager

Queens head for that delightful part of Angus to face bottom of the pile Brechin City and must be hopeful of three more points. Brechin however will be fighting for their 1st Division lives and will be no push-over. They are a dangerous team having recntly seen off St Johnstone,Falkirk and Kilmarnock. Their excellent and colourful manager Dick Campbell has worked wonders on a tight budget and he must be wondering when his team get the rub of the green and start picking up some points. It should be a cracking match and Queens will do well to pick up all three points. A lot will depend on who takes their chances and with Burke on fire Queens must be favourites.  Queens have a clean bill of health with the exception of long term crock Derek Lyle and the team will be much along the lines that defeated Clyde. Several hundred fans will be making the trip North with both Travel Club coaches full and will leave Dumfries at 0930.
