QUEENS HEAD FOR THE REC TO FACE THE WASPS ON SATURDAY

Queens head for Recreation Park on Saturday to face a tough relegation battle with Alloa who must be full of confidence after their win at Ross County last week. The Rec has not been a happy hunting ground for Queens of late and one remembers the disappointing 4-1 defeat their last season. This is a vital game for Queens as a reverse will leave us stranded at the bottom of the league. Our injury worries seem to have eased slightly and I expect JC to pick more or less the same formation which was desperately unlucky against Arbroath. Alloa will be very dangerous opponents and they know every inch of that grubby little ground at Alloa. Once again a large travelling Queens support is expected and they can play their part by getting behind the team. I am however not confident of a Queens victory and I feel that the best we can do is force a draw.
