QUEENS HEAD NORTH FOR ANOTHER CRACK AT THE DONS

Queens make the long trek to Pittodrie on Tuesday for the Cup replay with Aberdeen. The Dons will be heartened by their emphatic victory against a poor Dundee United team on Sunday. Those of us who watched the game live on TV will see that Queens have very little to fear and I'm sure the Doonhamers defence wont be as generous as the Tannadice lot. Queens have nothing to lose and should give it a real go and in a cup-tie atmosphere anything can happen. There will be the usual few hundred Queens diehards heading north including the Travel Club bus which is fully booked and will leave Dumfries at 1 pm. The Edinburgh branch of the Dons supporters club have made available spare seats on their bus to any Queens fans in the capital who wants to go along. This is a very generous gesture indeed and shows that goodwill and cooperation does exist in football. Here's hoping for a Queens victory and this will set up a cracker with Dundee on Saturday.
