QUEENS HEAD NORTH FOR OVERNIGHT STAY IN AVIEMORE

Queens head off today for an overnight stay in Aviemore in prepartion for tomorrow's CIS Insurance Cup against Ross County at Dingwall. Queens are in good knick after their triumph at Love Street and apart from the unfortunate Derek Lyle we have a full squad of players. Derek apparantly will be travelling with the official party which left today. Word in the street is that Kenny Crighton has taken a SCALECEXTRIC racing game to take the players mind off the game. Queens have every right to go into this game with confidence after recent displays and judging by County's woeful defensive display against Ayr can have nothing to fear. There will be the usual hundred or so die-hard Queens supporters who will be making the trip north having either gone on sick leave or cashed in their holidays. The Travel Club still has a few seats left on the bus so get in touch with Jim Mc Cormick. The bus leaves Tescos at 1 PM and will also be calling in at the Holiday Inn at Strathclyde Park to pick up Jane a fanatic Queens and Scotland supporter. This will be a tough match for Queens and with home advantage Ross must fancy their chances. Queens however seem to keep their best performances away from home and I'm going for Queens to progress to the next round.
