It should be a real cracker on Saturday as Queens entertain Falkirk at Palmy. Queens must be in a confident mood after their performance at Perth where they were cruelly robbed of three points. Falkirk will however a tough nut to crack as their away form is most impressive. If Queens play like they did at Perth , cut out the errors at the back then the Bairns should be in for a hectic afternoon. No teams news yet from Palmy but it looks like JC has a clean bill of health although 0'Connor did limp off towards the end at Perth. Around 600 plus Falikrk supporters are expected which should add to the atmosphere. There may be a question mark over the Palmerston pitch with the recent heavy rain in the Dumfries area but the forecast is good with the prospect of a dry night. The news is that there may be a pitch inspection in the morning so keep an eye out for further news. In passing the word on the streets is that Eric Paton has been attracting considerably admiration from various quarters and his performance at Perth ranks one of the finest right-back displays I have seen in many a day. Long may it continue.
