McNiven plays despite of a broken toe
Queens face Raith Rovers on Saturday with several players fresh back from injury in their pool. Scotty must be releived that his injury and illness crisis is showing signs of easing. Despite Raith's recent poor form this should be a tough fixture and there is no room for complacency after last week's magnificent result at Firhill. Queens should have their influencial skipper Bowey after injury and he is raring to go. Also leading scorer David Mc Niven plays despite breaking a toe in his foot. Bowey was on Radio Solway this morning bawling out in his geordie dialect that this is another Cup Final for us and we're going out to win. It will be tough going but Queens should win with a draw acceptable under the circumstances. As usual there will be another massive following of Queens fans heading for Kirkcaldy so let's hope their journey is worthwhile. There is some great news from Palmy that Willie Gibson is back in training and should be back in three weeks also new signing Billy McDonald is progressing well and is not far away either.
